Paul Forest Yates, 78, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at his residence.

He was the son of the late Harvey and Hazel Lou Barr Yates. He was a member of New Liberty Christian Church, and was a heavy equipment operator for Elbert Stinnett Asphalt Sealing for 40 years. He was a member of Beaver Creek Lodge #335, and the Order of Easter Star Hamilton Chapter #293.
He is survived of his wife of 49 years, Rosella Jamison Yates; four daughters, Becky (Randy) Stoddard, Renee (Steve) Morris, and Melissa (Mike) Gay, all of Lawrenceburg, and Virginia 'Tootie' (Larry) Brown, Waddy; seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Shouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Highview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21 from 4-8 p.m. Eastern Star Service and Masonic Service will be Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
Casketbearers will be Derek Brown, Mackenzie Morris, Adam Gay, Gary Stinnett, Danny Stinnett and Aaron Baker. Honorary bearers will be the New Liberty Church Men's Sunday School Class.
