Paul Wallace Gill, 55, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Hospice Care Center in Lexington.

He was predeceased by his father Joseph Anthony Gill in 2011 and a brother, Shaun Wallace Gill.
Paul was born on Jan. 25, 1958, in Barnsley, England, and served in The Royal Navy before moving to Kentucky.
He received a B.S. degree in computer software and worked as an electrician. Paul served 16 years on the Anderson County Fire District Board, former chairman of the Anderson Co. Burgoo Festival, taught industrial electricity at B.C.T.C., and was instrumental in starting the archery team at Anderson County High School. Paul and his wife are members of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Frankfort.
Paul is survived by his wife of 25 years, Marva Polsgrove Gill, three sons, James Gill and his wife Brandy of Oneida, Ky., John Gill and his daughter Makyli Gill of Fayetteville, W.V.; Ian Gill of Lawrenceburg, and his in-laws, Marvin and Betty Polsgrove of Frankfort.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 23 at 4 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1800 Louisville Rd., Frankfort, KY. The Rev. Elvyn L. Hamilton will officiate.
