Mrs. Edna Wells Dedman, 89, of Lawrenceburg and formerly of Willisburg, passed away at 12:55 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2013 at her home.

She was born in Louisville on March 30, 1924 to the late Jesse V. and Lelia Gordon Wells.
She was a homemaker and a member of Overland Church Of Christ.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Chester E. Dedman in 1987; a sister, Mary Ellen Gamble and five brothers, Joe, Maurice, Daniel, Sonny and Steve Wells.
Survivors include, five sisters, Elizabeth Deacon and Naomi Wells both of Lawrenceburg, Ruth Carr, Lillian Farmer and Roxie Puckett and her husband, Ray all of Louisville; three sisters-in-law, Juretta Wells and Phyllis Wells both of Lawrenceburg and Mary Mayes of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Monday, July 1 at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. David Lanius, officiating. He was assisted by Bro. Mike Noble and Bro. Jerry Dedman.
Burial was in High View Cemetery at Chaplin.
Serving as pallbearers were Tom Wells, Doug Farmer, Lee Puckett, Kevin Wells, Tim Wells and Bruce Wells.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
