Wayman, Robert Charles - Brownstown  
Robert Charles Wayman, 90, of Brownstown, passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at 2:25 p.m. at the Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown, Indiana. He was a graduate of Brownstown High School and attended I.U. He was a farmer, had worked in the family business-Wayman Brothers Builders and Lumber Supply-Baker Wholesale Electric and Farm Bureau. He had served during WWII, European Theater. He had served in the Army from October 1944 until August 1946. E.T.O. 3rd Army 11th Armored Division in Germany and entertained the troops with the "0599" theater troupe. He was an avid bird watcher. He was a member of the American Legion, a charter member of the Hickory Hills Golf CLub, the school board, Brownstown Christian Church where he was an elder, Deacon Choir the Church Board building Committee. Born Nov. 23, 1924 in Brownstown, he was a son of the late Carl E. and Hazel D. (Fountain) Wayman. On July 26, 1947 he married Phyllis Esther (Mulberry) Wayman and she survives. Other survivors include children: Jane Ann (Dick) Parman, Janice Kaye (Monte) McKinney and James Robert (Connie) Wayman; brother, Joe N. (Connie) Wayman; grandchildren: Brian (Christine) Parman, Rebecca (Tony) Incorvia, Carrie (Paul) Mussman, Jennifer (ALan) Harris, Emily Wayman, Ben Wayman, Bradley Wayman, Brian Wayman, Beth Wayman; and great grandchildren Luca Incorvia and Gus Mussman He was preceded in death by one sister, Ardith, and a brother Edmond E. Wayman and his parents Funeral arrangements will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 at the Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown. Gary Morning will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
