Billie Faye Holbrook, 72, Medora, died at 4:20 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
She was born April 20, 1940 in Montgomery County Tennessee to the late William Seay and Barbara Anderson Seay. On Dec. 26, 1962 she married Lawrence Holbrook, her husband of 50 years, and he survives.
Mrs. Holbrook was a homemaker and she devoted her life to her family and friends. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends.
Other survivors include son, Joe (Maria) Holbrook of Brownsburg; daughter, Barb (Todd) Bluedorn of Dallas, Tex.; grandchildren, Cassandra and Amanda Holbrook of Brownsburg and Jessica and Emily Bluedorn of Dallas, Tex.; sister, Rebecca Thomas of Salem; and nephews, John (Rhonda) Burris of Delta, Ala., Randy (Patty) Burris of Salem, Max (Carol) Thomas of Salem, and Robert (Carol) Johnson of Macon, Ga.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, George Edward Seay, and sister, Dorothty Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Hague Funeral Home, Medora, with Rev. Stephen Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in Weddleville Cemetery, Medora.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Jackson County Humane Society.
