Harry H. Luedeman(1928 - 2013)

Mr. Harry H. Luedeman, 85, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday Dec. 4, 2013 at The Lutheran Community Home.
Harry was born in Jennings County on July 2, 1928, the son of William C. and Dollie Ellen (Kinnick) Luedeman.
Harry graduated from Hayden High School and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. At Immanuel Lutheran Church he served as an Elder, and held various committee positions.
Mr. Luedeman was employed with Jackson County and Indiana Farm Bureau Co-Op. He along with his wife owned Luedeman's Grocery & Catering and Harry & Faye's Café.
Mr. Luedeman was a past member of Seymour Exchange Club and the Elks Club. He was also a member of the Hayden Historical Museum. He served on the Farm Bureau Credit Union Board for 13 years and the Zoning Board of Appeals in Seymour.
On April 19, 1947, he married B. Faye Stogdill, who survives.
Harry is survived by his wife B. Faye Luedeman, Harry is survived by his children: Dianne West, Michael (Rita) Luedeman, Dan Luedeman, Ricky Joe (Maggie) Luedeman, and Doug Luedeman (Terry Heck); one brother Walter (Elsie) Luedeman; and a sister Dorothy (Fenton) Liffick; 9 grandchildren: Kevin D (Michele) West, Jason T. (Tabitha) West, Daniel C. (Brianne) Luedeman II, Jeremy L. (Amanda) Luedeman, Michelle (Bryan) Schaefer, Craig (Spring) Luedeman, Kari (Drew) Storey, Andy (Kacie) Luedeman, and Jeffrey Luedeman; 19 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Clyde Luedeman, William Luedeman and Everett Luedeman, sisters: Ruth Riggs, Edna Hessler and Lillian Luedeman (infant).
Services will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday, Dec. 9, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, Rev. Philip Bloch, Rev. James Rodriguez and Vicar Mark Huff officiating.
Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 from 2 to 6 p.m. and on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
