Jack Dean Brock, 63, Norman, died 9:05 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 at IU Health Bedford.
He was born Nov. 26, 1949 in Seymour, the son of Pearl Edward and Brock and Gladys M. Daulton Brock, who both preceded him in death. His wife, Susan Elaine Blackwell Brock preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 2012.
Mr. Brock was a member of Cowboys for Christ in Lawrence County. He was a foreman for Blackwell Limestone in Lawrence County. He loved horseback riding, camping and cooking.
He especially loved his grandchildren and great grandchild.
Survivors include one son, Justin (Lana) Blackwell, Norman; one daughter, Whitney Brock, Norman; four grandchildren: Alli Robertson, Larissa Blackwell, Garrett Blackwell and Wyatt Blackwell; one great-grandchild, Gunnyr Blackwell; one brother, Rick Brock, Clearspring; and two sisters: Brenda Wynn, Freetown, and Rhonda Nantz, Brownstown.
Besides his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by three brothers: Roger Brock, Jim Brock and Denver Brock.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 31 at Hague Funeral Home, Medora, with minister Jim Temple officiating. Burial will follow at Weddleville Cemetery, Medora.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 30 and from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
