Joseph Matthew Mejean

Joseph Matthew Mejean, 25, Freetown, died at 2:19 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
He was born Dec. 19, 1985 in Seymour, Ind. to Casimir Steven and Dana Bruner Mejean of Freetown, Ind., and they survive. On Nov. 10, 2007 he married Alexis McKinney Mejean of Freetown, Ind., and she survives.
Mr. Mejean was a member of the Freetown Pentecostal Church. He formerly worked at Kobelco in Seymour, Ind. and had recently worked as an auto mechanic. He loved four-wheel drive off-roading, deer hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Mr. Mejean especially loved spending time with his wife and children.
Other survivors include a son, Noah Matthew Mejean at home; a daughter Addison Jo Mejean at home; brother, Tim Mejean of Brownstown, Ind.; and sister, Tamara Mejean of Columbus, Ind.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Zabel Funeral Home, Brownstown, with Pastor Tim Brown officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Chapel Cemetery, Freetown.
Friends may call at the funeral from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
Memorials may be given to the family.
