Judith L. Day, 61, Brownstown, died at 6:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at her residence.
She was born June 5, 1951 in Seymour to the late Richard Basil Hoover and Helen Louise (Hearrell) Hoover. On Feb. 28, 1971 she married William Joseph Day, and he survives.
Mrs. Day worked as a CNA at the Lutheran Community Home in Seymour and the Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, growing flowers and mowing her lawn.
Other survivors include her three children, Richard John (Sarah) Day of Freetown, Patricia Deann (Michael) Ault of Brownstown, and Andrew William (Kathy) Day of Seymour; sisther, Diana Steele of North Manchester; three brothers, Kenneth S. Hoover of North Manchester, Richard B. Hoover, Jr. of North Manchester and Van L. Hoover of Huntington; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents; half sister, Priscilla Greene; brother, William R. Hoover; and infant sister, Janet K. Hoover
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown, with Van Breeding officiating. Burial will follow in Old Regular Baptist Church Cemetery, Brownstown.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, and from 10 a.m. Friday until time of service.
Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown, is in charge of arrangements.
