Roger D. Miller, 62, of Seymour passed Aug. 16, 2014 in Freetown.
Roger was born April 17, 1952 in Seymour, the son of Homer Clifton Miller and Mary K (Peak) McMahan. On Sept. 10, 1982, in Seymour, he married J. Arlene Cartwright.
Roger graduated from Brownstown High School in 1970. He attended Peace Lutheran Church.
He served in the US Army and worked in production at Cummins Engine Co, Roger was also a member of American Legion post 89. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping.
He is survived by his wife, children Christopher M. (Angela) Miller and Jason K (Jennifer) Miller; sister, Sharon E (David) Waskom, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David E. Miller; and stepfather, Ernest L McMahan.
Funeral service will be at Voss Funeral Service, Voss Chapel on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m., with the Rev Steve Barrett officiating.
Burial will take place at White River Valley Cemetery, Medora, with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday after 10 a.m. until time of service.
Memorials can be made to Hospice of Schneck Medical Center.
