Willard Tiemeyer, 65, Freetown, died 2:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2 at St. Vincent Hospice in Carmel.

He was born Dec. 28, 1948 in Seymour, a son of Bernard and Ruth Reynolds Tiemeyer. On April 9, 2012 in Nashville, he married Danet Berbick, and she survives.
Mr. Tiemeyer was a 1968 graduate of Brownstown Central High School. He retired from Cummins Engine Co. after more than 30 years of employment. He was of the Methodist faith.
Other than his wife, he's also survived by three step-daughters: Deniesha Leslie, Jamaica, Daniela Campbell, Jamaica, and Danielle Campbell, Freetown; one sister, Bernicia Diana Holman, Brownstown; two nieces, Angela (Brad) Wingler, Brownstown, and Winter Holman, Crothersville; and one nephew, Cory Holman, Brownstown.
Also surviving are great nieces and nephews: Brooklyn Wingler, Alli Mae Wingler and Brennan Wingler, all of Brownstown, and Kaylyn Holman, Koby Davis and Payton Sporleder, all of Crothersville.
Both parents preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Doug Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7 and 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Brownstown United Methodist Church.
