Marjorie Gill, 92, Medora, died 1:43 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.

She was born April 3, 1922 in Many, La., to Lewis Parham and Lula Coleman Parham. On March 3, 1942 in Leesville, La., she married Fred R. Gill. He preceded her in death Nov. 24, 2008.
She was a member of Medora Pentecostal Church, a homemaker, loved to quilt, sew, cook, work search puzzles and an avid Bible reader. She had been a resident of Jackson County since 2000.
Survivors include three sons: Van (Sherry) G. Gill, San Antonio, Texas, Pastor Timothy (Faythe) Gill, Medora, Tommy (Ann) Gill, Boise, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Gill, Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Keith Gill and Ronald Gill; three brothers: Claude Parham, Roy Parham and Carroll Parham; and three sisters: Minnie Brumley, Gladys Wright and Violet Alexander.
Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at Medora Pentecostal Church, 94 Elm St., with Bishop M.L. Walls officiating.
Burial will take place at Mission Burial Park North, San Antonio, Texas.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at the church. There will be no visitation on Friday.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Medora Pentecostal Church New Building Fund.
