Joseph H. Hippler, 48, of Holister, Calif., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in California.
He was born Oct. 3, 1964, in Fort Jackson, S.C., to Clarence F. and Margaret (Cameron) Hippler.
Joe graduated from Bellevue High School in 1983 and served our country in the U.S. Army for over six years. Most recently, he was managing convenience stores in California.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Hippler, of Bellevue; his son, Charles (Caitlin) Hippler, of Las Vegas; his grandson, Chance Hippler; his siblings, Louise Adkins, James Hippler, and Sarah (Geoff) Oney, all of Bellevue; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Adkins, Shelby Oney, and Megan Oney.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Hippler, and a niece.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bellevue City Cemetery. Military graveside services will be provided by the Bellevue VFW
, American Legion, and Marine Corps League.
