Opal Mae Leber, 81, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born on Jan. 1, 1932, in Oakwood, to the late Harlan and Ada (Forney) Teegarden.
She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1950 and was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall. She loved to watch the Bellevue Redmen football games and felt lucky to be able to go see them play in the state championship. She also enjoyed watching the marching and concert bands at the high school.
Survivors include children, Deborah (Bill) Morgan and Dennis Leber, both of Bellevue; siblings, Clarence Teegarden, of Mississippi, Robert Teegarden, of Defiance, Evelyn Teegarden, of Florida, and Ruthie Fenter, of Defiance. Also are surviving are five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 1 p.m. until the memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall. David Flores will be officiating.
