Geraldine M. Lawrence, 85, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013. She was born March 4, 1927 in Conneaut, Ohio and the daughter of John M. and Josephine (Pirrung) Kennedy.
She married William E. Lawrence on Aug. 28, 1950 in Conneaut, Ohio. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Geraldine was a homemaker, an avid reader, played the guitar and harmonica, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Scrambled Square dancing club.
She is survived by her son, Darrell (Miriam) Lawrence, Sr. of Jefferson City, MO; daughters, Noreen Carroll, Nancy Nay, Kathy (David) Keller, and Renea Lawrence, all of Bellevue; grandchildren, Timothy (Charlene) Reeder, Connie Reeder, Laura Beth (Bob) Nye, Christopher (Jen) Keller, Darrell (Casey) Lawrence, Jr., Karen Lawrence, and Jessica (James Wood) Lawrence; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Chagolla, Sierra Wogomon, Alexis Nye, Ethan Nye, and Benjamin Lawrence.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters, and one brother.
Friends will be received on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 from 3-8 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Jon Sheperd at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio.
