Joseph Daniel Hamilton, "Joe," 34, died in a house fire in Republic, on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012.
Joe was born Aug. 27, 1978 to Terry M. and Phillip C. Hamilton, Jr. He has a brother, Phillip Hamilton, III and a sister, Nicole Hamilton.
Joe attended Assumption High School in Wis. Rapids, WI and graduated from Lincoln High School, Wis. Rapids, WI. He went on to graduate from the Instrumentation Technology program at Mid-State Technical College, Wis. Rapids, WI. Joe spent his career as a technician for Hurst Technology.
In August 2004, Joe and the love of his life, Holly R. (Adams) Hamilton were blessed with their first son, Jaxon D. Hamilton. Holly's daughter, Olivia R. Bondy, was a very proud and loving older sister. Soon after, in May 2005, Joe and Holly married. The following year, another son was born; Linkin J. Hamilton arrived in August 2006. The family was complete.
Joe enjoyed his family and friends immensely. He was always available to lend a hand, stop for a visit with his neighbors, and opened his home to people and animals that just needed a warm place to feel loved. Joe coached Olivia's soccer and softball teams. He also coached baseball for Jaxon. If something or someone was needed, he did his best to help.
Joe is survived by his great-grandfather, George Bemke; his parents, Terry M. and Phillip C. Hamilton, Jr. (Dorie Hamilton, step-mother); his brother and family, Phillip C. III and Jaime Hamilton (nephews: Phillip IV, Jacob, Benjamin); his sister, Nicole L. Hamilton (step-nieces April and Tiffany Martens); and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
