Marcella M. "Sally" Huffman, age 91, of Bellevue, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013, at The Willows at Bellevue. 
She was born in Reed, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clements and Bertha Ruffing. She married Ralph Huffman on Nov. 21, 1945. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2003.
Sally was a well-known local seamstress, doing alterations, making doll clothes and teddy bears for many years. She and her late husband also restored several hundred old trunks as a hobby. She was member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Altar Rosary Society.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen (Tom) Schart, of Green Valley, Ariz., Cynthia (Lowell J.) Scheid, of Curtice, Ohio, Patricia (Michael) Stevens, of Norwalk, Brenda (Jack) Ziegler, of Republic, Rhonda (Thomas) Joseph, of Bellevue; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Ann (Robert) Niedermier, of Attica, and Marlene (William) Cleland, of Attica.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant daughter, brothers, Sylvester, Richard, and Wilbur Ruffing, and sisters, Verna Mae Sanger and Norma Echelberry.
Friends will be received Tuesday, April 30, from 3-8 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, where the Rosary will be recited at 2:30 p.m.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 1, beginning at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center, St.. Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Fish and Loaves, P.O. Box 121, Bellevue, OH 44811; or Hospice of Memorial Hospital, 430 S. Main St., Clyde, OH 43410.
