Brenda Walters, 56, of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at her home.
She was born June 16, 1957, in Bellevue, the daughter of Robert and Ileta (Reilly) Pittenger.
Brenda was a graduate of Bellevue Senior High School. She was a former member of the Bellevue Eagles Aerie 490, Moose, and VFW Auxiliary. Brenda loved her grandchildren more than anything.
She is survived by her husband, James Walters, whom she married July 15, 1989; one son, Mark Butz, of Bellevue; a daughter, Ileta Johnson, of Bellevue; two grandchildren, James and Noah Butz; three sisters, Kathy (Dan) Seamon, of Bellevue, Joyce (Tom) King, of Pueblo, Colo., and Karen David, of Bellevue; and her brother-in-law, Carmen Loparo, of Bellevue.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bobbi Loparo; and brother-in-law, Jim David.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 11 a.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow in York Chapel Cemetery.
