Pauline Howe MacKenzie

MERIDEN - Pauline F. Howe MacKenzie, 89, formerly of Meriden, beloved wife of the late of Harvey MacKenzie, died Friday, March 21, 2014, at Skyview Center in Wallingford.

Born in West Bridgewater, Mass., Jan. 8, 1925, a daughter of the late Earnest and Laura Spratt Howe, she had been a Meriden resident for many years. She had been employed by J.C. Penney for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. MacKenzie, of Wallingford; her son, Warren D. MacKenzie, of Meriden; her two grandsons, Anthony DeBaise and Ryan MacKenzie; and her great-grandson, Anthony DeBaise Jr; and her sister, Vida Washington, of Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Howe and Ora Howe; and her sister, Earnestine Walker.

Pauline's family would like to thank the staff of Skyview Center for all their kindnesses and care.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main Street, Yalesville section of Wallingford, Wednesday, March 26, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 12:15 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the , 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
