MILFORD - Marjorie Loretta Dixon, age 74, of Milford and beloved wife to the late Daniel Dixon, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 1, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Jan. 5, 1940 in Charlestown, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Thelma Overland Blake. A loving and dedicated mother, sister, grandmother and the best mother-in-law, Marjorie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Marjorie is survived by her two children; Maureen Richter and her husband, Carl, of Wallingford; and David Dixon and his, wife, Suzette of Milford; four grandchildren, Robin and Eric Richter; and Elizabeth and Kasey Dixon; two sisters, Lorraine Lichtenberger and her husband, Chuck; and Sharon Sanders; as well as her Aunt Christabel Overland; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call on Monday, May 5 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. Burial will be private.
