Alfonso R. Moya, 53, of Brighton, passed away April 27, 2013, in Brighton. He was born Jan. 12, 1960, in Denver, to Alfonso and Patricia (Torres) Moya. He graduated from Denver West High School in 1978.

Alfonso has lived in Brighton since 2000 and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where he was very active. He volunteered as a visiting parishioner, and worked security at the annual Bazaar. He was also involved with the adoration of St. Augustine.
He worked for Lockheed Martin for 25 years in Security. Alfonso loved to watch soccer and sports in general. He enjoyed mastering video games and using his vacation time to watch March Madness Basketball. He loved his video games and reading. He also loved exercising and dancing. Alfonso also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, often stepping up to help them out.
Alfonso is survived by his parents, Al and Patsy Moya of Brighton; sisters, Patricia Moya and Cheryl (Michael) Morrison of Brighton; brothers, Steve (Ana) Moya of Brighton and Mark (Debbie) Moya of Englewood; special godson, Christopher (Jacqui) Moya of Lochbuie; 15 nieces and nephews and three great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Ann, in 1961; brother, James, in 1964.
Rosary service and visitation was May 2 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was May 3 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment followed at Elmwood Cemetery. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
