David Arnold Archuleta, 61, died Sept. 9 in Brighton.
He was born May 27, 1957, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, to Jose Miguel Archuleta and Mary Viola Struck. He attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from high school in 1976.
He was a carpenter at Union Pacific Railroad. He rode Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and he enjoyed to camp, cruise swap meets and spend time with family and friends.
Survivors include his brothers, Jimmy, Mickey and Manuel, of Brighton; and Fred Archuleta, of Kileen, Texas; sisters Roberta Winkler, of Imperial, Missouri; Margaret Jackson, of Lochbuie; Diana Archuleta, of Green River, Wyoming; Viola Archuleta, of Quinter, Kansas. and Edith Schott, of Littleton.
His parents; grandparents; and an uncle preceded him in death.
Two celebrations of life are scheduled Saturday, Sept. 15. The first is from noon to 3 p.m. at the Brighton Elks Lodge, 101 N. Main St. The second will be at the Rock Springs City Cemetery.
A Basic Cremation Service in Denver handled the arrangements.
