On June 23, 2018, at 11:59 pm, Eric Gossanyi passed away after a five-year fight with heart disease. He was 55 years old and surrounded by family as he left this world peacefully.
In 1963, on the first of February, Eric was brought into this world by his mother and father, Ann and Jules Gossanyi. Later, they moved to Colorado and made a loving home, adding his little sister Karen to their little family.
After high school Eric joined the Army and served his country with pride and enlisted for a second time, during which he became a mechanic and was eventually injured. He retired from the military, got married and welcomed his three children into life – Joshua, Eduard, and Alexandria.
As he settled into fatherhood, he earned an associate's degree and began working in a CB repair shop south of Brighton. While repairing CB radios was a useful trade, Eric found himself interested in farming. He moved his family 20 miles east of Brighton and began his small but mighty wheat operation. With his patience and perseverance, Eric made much out of little and gave everything to his family.
Eric was a dedicated father and very passionate about his children. He protected and guided them forward in hopes that they would find the same pleasure in this simple, yet fulfilling, life as he did.  Eric lived life according to his faith in God and by his own means. His memory will be carried forth by his children.
Eric will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother and father; his sister; his son Joshua, daughter-in-law Erin, and their children Benjamin and Phoebe; and his second son Eduard, and his daughter Alexandria.
