Paul Hubert Riley, 92, of Brighton, passed away Nov. 28. He was born July 16, 1925, in Eureka, Kansas, to Hubert H. and Lela E. (Tubbs) Riley.  Paul was a graduate of Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Kansas.  On June 1, 1983, in Aurora, Paul married Sharyl Parks.
Paul worked for Phillips Pipeline from 1946 to 1986 in numerous capacities and moved to Brighton in 1995. Paul loved to fish Colorado's high lakes. 
He was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Navy, assigned to the USS Sangamon. He received the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and the Atlantic Pacific Campaign Medal. 
Paul was a member of the Fidelity Masonic Lodge 106 while in Eureka, Kansas. He loved working in his yard and reading historical novels. 
Survivors include his wife, Sharyl; daughter, Audra Riley, of Colorado Springs; sisters, Janice Robinholt, of Lititz, Pennsylvania, and Donna Becker, of El Dorado, Kan.; brothers, Dave Riley of Bandera, Texas, and Claude Riley of Jourdanton, Texas.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at 11:30 a.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, staging area B, in Denver. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
