Peggy Ann Mills, 71, of Brighton, passed away March 14 in Longmont.
Peggy was born in Brighton Jan. 14, 1947, to Lewis and Celestina Mills. She attended schools in the Brighton area and graduated from Brighton High School in 1966.
Peggy made a career working in care centers at various positions. Peggy was known for her great sense of humor, and it was said that she never met a stranger. Peggy was well-liked and made friends easily.
Peggy enjoyed fishing and camping, polka music and Dutch hopping, and she was an avid Broncos fan.
Her parents and a brother, Jerry Mills, preceded her in death. Survivors are her sisters, Sheryl Mills, Norma Worthan and Kathy Medina; a nephew, Randy Worthan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Elmwood Cemetery, 14800 Old Brighton Road, Brighton.
