Stephen Ray Jones of Conway died on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
He was born on Sept. 24, 1955, to the late Robert E. Jones, Sr. and Willie Lee "Punkin" Jamison.
He was a life-long native of Conway, Ark., and a graduate of Conway High School. He attended the University of Central Arkansas. He began his professional career as a carpenter and later gained the reputation as a master finish carpenter to some of the most prestigious homes in the Faulkner County area. He was an avid Razorback fan. Many of his leisure hours were spent on the Arkansas waters. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Conway.
He was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother and friend.
Steve is survived by his wife, Tamyra (Tammy) Patton Jones; and his son, Stephen Harrison Jones; a brother, Robert E. Jones, Jr. (Carol) of Fayetteville; and numerous extended family members and life-long friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home chapel, with Dr. Dale Wicker officiating.
Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Wooster.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Brewer, John Paladino, David Stoltz, Larry Stark, Marc Hudson, Bill Lupkey, Kenny McCollum and Danny Paul Satterwhite.
Honorary pallbearers are Richie Hambuchen, Dave Johnson, Mike Trent, Greg Lock, and members of the Slaw Family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in his honor to Conway First Baptist Church, 1719 Robinson Ave., Conway, AR 72034.

so sorry to hear about Steve he was a pleasure to work with on our home we built. I hope and pray the family will be able to find ways too only remember the good times.
