Dee Mollison "Molly" Juhl, 78, died in Rogers, Ark., on July 1, 2014.
He was born Jan. 2, 1936, in Brayton, Iowa, to William McKinley Juhl Sr. and Dorothy Margaret DeKoning Juhl.
He was an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean conflict
. He worked and retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after 32 years of service to the company as a Machinist. He was an amazing artist who always enjoyed sketching and drawing. Everyone who knew him, knew he had a knack for collecting pens and pencils. He also enjoyed knitting and wood carving. Most of all he loved the precious time he spent with his grandchildren whom he adored.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma Jean Juhl; and brother, Richard Juhl Sr.
Survivors include three sons, Tony Juhl and Eric Juhl, both of Iowa, and Mark Juhl of Arizona; one daughter, Serena Juhl-Goines and husband Mike of Springdale, Ark.; two grandchildren, Ciarra and Hunter Goines; one sister, Sandra Richmond and husband Ed of Texas; one brother, William Juhl Jr. and wife Katherine of Iowa; many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Cutler-O'Neil Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 7, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jann Osborn officiating.
