Kenneth Thomas Reid, 83, of Greenbrier, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

He was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Saginaw, Mich., to the late Fred and Bessie Bell Brewer Reid.
Kenneth was also preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and David Reid; and one sister, Gladys White.
Kenneth was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and loved serving his country. He served during WWII, Korea and two eighteen month tours in Vietnam. Kenneth was President of the VFW in Plano, Texas, and also served on the Veteran's committee in Washington, D.C. After retiring from the Marine Corp, he managed six restaurants from Chicago to Dallas.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine; two sons, Rick Reid and wife Debbie of Greenbrier and Kenny T. Reid II of California; two daughters, Lucy Reid and Janet Reid, both of California; two step-sons, Clark and Jimmy Timberlake of Missouri; a brother, Joe Reid of California; five sisters, Geneva Reinhard of California, Virginia Dominick of Sherwood, Margaret Higgins and husband Lee of Jacksonville, Pauline Butcher and husband Ed of Sherwood, Mary Trent of Arizona; six grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11th, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway 501-327-7727.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
Interment with full military honors will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14th, at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery.
