Cleveland Withrow, Jr. was born in Hot Springs, Ark., on March 17, 1926. He passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the North Little Rock Veterans Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Marie (Berry) Withrow; his Parents, Lona (Hicks) Withrow and Cleveland Withrow, Sr.
He is survived by a daughter, Janet Lynn Davis and son-in-law Gilbert Davis of Mayflower; a sister, Margaret Fogle of Hot Springs; one grandson, Darren Glen Wilson and wife Karen Wilson of Mayflower; and four great-grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Aubrey Wilson, Darren Glen Wilson, Jr. and Joseph Hayden Wilson.
Cleveland spent his childhood working with his father at a local dairy. He was a World War II Veteran in the Philippines. After the war he worked as a mechanic for Buster Mooney Salvage, Steven's Auto, and as a machinist for 20 years at the Norris Dispenser Plant in Hot Springs.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2013, at Memorial Gardens in Hot Springs, Ark., with the Reverend Stanley Young officiating, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Conway, 501-327-5000.
