Donald Elmer Beitsch passed from this life on Nov. 15, 2016 in OKC, OK. He was a graduate of Purdue with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering and served his country with honor for over 25 years, retiring from the USAF as a Colonel. Following his retirement, Don spent 8 years working as a supervisor for TDK in Shawnee. He was a very active volunteer at Tinker AFB, serving as the director of the Retiree Activities Program and the Retiree Appreciation Organization.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy Coleman, and first wife Patsy Beitsch. He is survived by his wife of over 18 yrs Dortha "Dot" Beitsch; son Dr. Peter Beitsch of Dallas; step sons Chris Milburn of Albuquerque and Monty Milburn of OKC; 5 grandchildren: Berkley, Finley, and McKalen Beitsch and Branson and Kolbie Milburn.
Don will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
