Homer V. Swope, age 68, of Hattieville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016. He was born November 17, 1947 in St. Vincent, Arkansas, a son of John O. Swope and Hattie Edwards Swope. He was a retired line leader for Frigidaire, an Army veteran, and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Swope; children, Angela (Leon) Snyder of Adona, Stephen Glover of Cabot, and Stephanie Glover of Sherwood; brother, Emil Swope; sisters, Charlene Meaders, Diane Robinson, Linda Boyer, and Dorothy Osterberger; and grandchildren, Cheyenne Ponder, Ashlyn Snyder, Trenton Snyder, Madison Snyder, and Billy Glover. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Greg Swope; brother, Ed Swope; and sisters, Ruth Gunderman and Chris Gunderman.
