Jimmy Jones Obituary
He was born April 24, 1947, in Stockton, Calif., to J.C. Jones and Wanda Necia Yoakum Jones.
He was a 1965 graduate of Conway High School, a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello, a Navy Veteran, and an enrollee of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
He was retired from the U.S. Forestry Service.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Jones.
Survivors include his son, Jason Jones of Rogers, Ark.; daughter, Sarah Jones of Dierks, Ark.; mother, Wanda Necia Jones of Conway; siblings, Phyllis Ragan of Perryville, Ark., Steven Jones of Hot Springs, Wyatt Jones and Alicia Jones, both of Conway; and grandchildren, Jenna Jones, Jacob Jones, and Parker Hernandez.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Hot Springs.

Jimmy was one of the kindest, warm hearted, loving man I have had the pleasure of knowing. It saddens me so that he isn't upon this earth any longer. But I know that he will always live in my heart, among many others as well. We shared a good love.

Jimmy and I were dance partners when a group of 6th graders from Fairside Elementary were on Steve's show on Little Rock television. He was full of life, kind to others, and I am sad to read of his death. I hope that wonderful memories will bring you comfort during this sad time.
