Lonis L. Hammett, 84, of Greenbrier, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.

He was born on Monday, Nov. 4, 1929, in Appleton, Ark., to the late Ollie and Georgia (Harvell) Hammett.
Mr. Hammett owned Hammett's Cleaners and Hammett and Sons Dairy. He retired from the Air National Guard. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Razorbacks and the Phillies.
He is survived by his wife, May Dean Hammett of Greenbrier; three daughters, Lynn Bush (Paul) of Greenbrier, Kay Colclasure (Ronnie) of Greenbrier, and Tami Wood (David) of Conway; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Esta Duke of Conway; and brother, Ollie Hammett Jr. (Lucy) of Conway.
Lonis is preceded in death by his parents; son, Tim Hammett; brother, Bill Hammett; and sister, Judy McCarty.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
