Bruce Nooner, 72, of Springfield, Ark., passed from this life on April 10, 2014.
He was born on Jan. 20, 1942, in Mount Vernon, Ark., to the late Alvis and Alice Nooner.
Bruce enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, woodworking, teaching, and spending time with his loving family. Bruce never met a stranger and was loved by all who met him.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Wright Nooner; seven children, Rick Nooner (Belinda) of Broomfield, Colo., David Nooner (Melissa) of Springfield, Ark., Daniel Nooner (Andi) of Wylie, Texas, Chris Nooner (Sheerah) of Wylie, Texas, Scott Nooner (Kate) of Wilmington, N.C., Jon Nooner (Rachel) of Marietta, Ga., and Julie Nooner of Plano, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Shirrell Nooner and Don Nooner; one sister, Joy VanRy; and numerous loving friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Dave Ward Drive.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday evening at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
