Leona Mae Johnston, 79, of Mayflower, passed from this life on May 15, 2014.

She was born in Hill Community, Ark., to the late Wesley Miles and Zora Augusta Wright on Feb. 16, 1935.
Leona was retired from Molex. She was a member of the Mayflower United Methodist Church, known as a great cook, and loved spending time with her loving family and church family.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Odell Johnston of 49 years; three sons, Jessie Ronnie Johnston (Bernie), John Dee Johnston (Pamela), and Wesley Odell Johnston Sr. (Floy); one daughter, Tina M. Bell (Mickey); one sister, Jeanette Dunham (Larry); one brother, Pete Ellison Wright; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous loving friends.
Leona was also preceded in death by one brother, Wesley Leonis Wright.
A funeral service will be held in her honor at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014, at the Mayflower United Methodist Church, with burial to follow at Mayflower Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday evening at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
