John D. Lawson of Conway passed away Aug. 10, 2014, at the age of 58 at his river cabin in Pangburn, Ark.
John was born in Farmington, Mo., on May 21, 1956, to the late Kenneth Lawson and Loretta Lawson.
He was raised and graduated high school in Sullivan, Mo. In 1993, he moved his family to Bryant, Ark. Here he raised three boys. In 2006, he moved to Conway. John made his living working for Molex as a senior molding supervisor. His hobbies included spending time with his family, trout fishing on the Little Red River, bonfires, cookouts, and Cardinals Baseball.
He is survived by his three sons, Andrew Lawson, Seth Lawson, and Tim Lawson; granddaughter, Kylie Lawson; sister, Stephanie Dill (Keith) of Valley Park, Mo.; two nieces, Laura Dill of Manchester, Mo., and Becky Dill Smith (Christopher) of Greenville, S.C.; his fiancée, Ann Simms; other loving family members and friends.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
