Della Montine "Monty" Weaver, 81, of Greenbrier passed away, Friday, May 13, 2011. Born in Little Rock, she was a daughter to the late Dan and Ruby Pearl Cotton May. Montine was a loving mother and sister who loved animals.
She retired from the City of Conway, where she had worked in Animal Control. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Weaver Sr.; three children, Carolyn Weaver, Johnny Weaver and William Weaver; and a brother, John May.
Survivors include her sons, Hollis Weaver Jr. and Billy Wayne Weaver, both of Greenbrier; sisters, Frances Sanson of Quitman and Betty Southerland of Lakeland, Fla.; and a brother, Eugene May of Mulberry, Fla.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Harold Claussen officiating. Interment will follow at Thorn Cemetery with Dennis Weaver, David Bowie, Wendell Weaver, Thomas Beard, Franklin Sanson and Farnsworth Brown Jr. serving as pallbearers.
