William N. Dobbins, 76, of Clinton, Ark., went to the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 28th, 2013.
He was born Feb. 28, 1937, at Newport News, Va., to the late George James and Mary Helen (Mills) Dobbins.
He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Helen E. Dobbins; his two daughters, Carol Ingmire of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sheryl Dobbins of Las Vegas, Nev.; and his two step daughters, Daphne Brown and Tona Alford of Center Ridge, Ark. He is also survived by his sister, Clarice Troutman of Hampton, Va.; and his brother, David Dobbins. Bill had four granddaughters, Stephanie, Sarah, Samantha and Alyssa; and six step grandchildren, Clint, Jessie, Sam, Brandon, Suzie, and Daniel.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force and served honorably. Bill was an active member of the Ozark Health Medical & Nursing Center's Auxiliary in Clinton, Ark.; of whom he and his wife depended on to assist them at the chemo clinic as they faced the unknown journey through cancer.
Pallbearers: Clint Brown, Steve Brown, Danny Alford, Brandon Alford, Robert Glover, and Dave Smith.
Visitation will be held at Southside Baptist Church 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 1st, 2013, and Funeral Service will be held at the same place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013, with Pastor Steve Stephens officiating.
Burial will follow at Quattlebaum Cemetery with U.S. Air Force Military Honors.
Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Ark.
