Charles L. Caruthers, 79, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013.
He was born Nov. 13, 1933 in Judsonia, to the late Wiley and Ruth Caruthers.
He was also preceded in death by five siblings.
He was an iron worker and Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elouise Moses Caruthers; daughters, Shannon Pike of Wooster and Rena Taylor of Greenbrier; one sister, Evelyn Osborn of Concord; grandchildren, Kevin Baker, Joshua Heffington, Christopher Heffington, Kayla Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Layla Heffington, Luke Heffington, Andrew Baker, Blake Baker, and Kelsey Lowder.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Dr., Conway.
Interment will follow at Martinville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Heffington, Joshua Heffington, Christopher Heffington, Billy Brown, Kevin Baker, and Andrew Baker.
