Edward Paul Lachowsky, 88, of Conway, passed away July 29, 2013.

He was born May 26, 1925, in Conway, Ark., to Augustus Lachowsky and Mary Ann Sheehan Lachowsky.
Mr. Lachowsky was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. He was a WWII veteran having served his county in the United States Navy aboard the USS Scrimmage and retired from the Little Rock Zoo after more than 20 Years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 50 years, Ernestine Berniece Watters Lachowsky; brothers, Augustus Lachowsky Jr. and Bernard Lachowsky; sister, Mary Ellen Hambuchen; and son, Lloyd Lee Tucker.
Survivors include daughters, Paulette Chastain of Greenbrier and Gwendolyn Harrison of Conway; grandchildren, Faith McGhee, Hope Pruitt, Charity Estrada, T.E. Starkey, Sarah Sigler, Keven Tucker, and Kris Tucker. Other survivors include nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, in Bishop-Griffin Chapel, with Pastor William McPeake officiating.
Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be T.E. Starkey, Ricardo Estrada, Ryan McGhee, Kristopher Tucker, John Shaw and Craft Shaw.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rick McGhee and Keven Tucker.
