Ora Lea Permenter, 87, of Quitman, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013. She was born June 12, 1926, to the late George Lee Spradlin and Elmer (Starr) Spradlin in Mount Vernon, Ark.

She is survived by her husband, Owen Permenter, of Quitman, whom she married Oct. 13, 1945; son and his wife, Gary and Pat Permenter, of Quitman; granddaughter and her husband, Dena and Jarrod DeValle, of Greenbrier; grandson and his wife, Michael and Julie Permenter, of Greenbrier; great-grandchildren, Luke Permenter, Bonnie Permenter, Nicholas DeValle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her four siblings, Alice Nooner, Myrtle Wallace, Arlis Spradlin, Wilma Lane.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with her grandson, Michael Permenter, officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Dale Garland, Dick Permenter, Bruce Nooner, Calvin Lane, Jasper Wallace, Leonard Spradlin.
