Carroll D. Morgan, 79, of Conway, formerly of Greenbrier, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1934, in Paris, Ark., to the late Jesse L. and Inez I. (Rainey) Morgan.
He was a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Carroll was an avid Razorbacks fan, and a member of New Beginnings Church in Greenbrier.
Those left to mourn are his wife of 54 years, Wanda (Willcutt) Morgan; son, Brian Morgan and wife Brenda of Greenbrier; three daughters, Evalyn Morgan, Renee Brown and husband Jack, and Gail Gefroh, all of Conway; five grandchildren, Brian, Bethany and Brandi Morgan, Grace Brown and Noah Gefroh; four great-grandchildren, Brandon and Makenzie Brech and Hannah and Clayton Morgan; two brothers, George Morgan and wife Gayle of Houston, Texas, and Wayne Morgan and wife Evelyn of Alma, Ark.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Paskell, Haskell, Kenneth and William Morgan; sister, Bobbye Flippin; and son-in-law, Blue Gefroh.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
Burial will follow in McNew Cemetery, with Bro. Bob Robinson officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
