"Jerry" Pearlman
Gerald Roger "Jerry" Pearlman, 83, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012. He was born September 5, 1929, in San Francisco.
A resident of Salinas for 42 years, Jerry worked as the V.P. of Sales and Marketing for Goodwill Industries.
Jerry was a member of Temple Beth El, The Western Stage, and Dixieland Monterey.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lynn Pearlman of Salinas; daughters, Debra (Joe) Strunk of Gilroy, Karen Glaser of Foster City; son, Gregg (Kimberly) Pearlman of Redwood City; grandchildren, David Strunk, Joanna Strunk, Sam Glaser, Josh Glaser, and Adam Pearlman.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, November 29, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at Temple Beth El, 1212 Riker St., Salinas, CA 93901.
Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA 93901.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 182 El Dorado St., Monterey, CA 93940; Temple Beth El, 1212 Riker St., Salinas, CA 93901; or to your favorite charity.

I've spent all evening trying to put into words the ache in my heart. Jerry Pearlman was a gentle man with a sweet heart and he always had a kind word and a great hug. There are things I miss about being part of that world but the communion we shared is my deepest loss and Jerry was and will always be, to me, one of the bright, bright lights in that communion and community. As long as we remember, that light will always shine.
