Charlotte Belle
"Rusty" Caldwell
Charlotte Belle "Rusty" Caldwell, 83, of Prunedale, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013. She was born February 3, 1929 in Pittsburg, KS, to Charles Emmanuel Tatham Sr. and Elizabeth Ann (Blackett) Tatham.
She attended Pittsburg and Neosho Missouri Schools. She married Charles L. Caldwell on November 24, 1956.
Charlotte "Rusty" Caldwell was known for being a seamstress for many years in the local area of Monterey County. Slipcovers and alterations were her speciality.
Meeting her on the other side is her husband, Charles; daughter, Master Sargent Rose Ellen Hoctor; daughter, Charlotte Ann Kunz of Camp Le June N.C.; and son, Floyd Charles Jette from LA.
Charlotte is survived by her brother, Charles E. Tatham of Denver, CO.; daughters, Fawn E. Stephenson and husband Gene of Columbia, MO., Charlynne "Charnie" Vadnais, and husband Milton of Prunedale. Rusty has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charlotte's ashes will be placed along with her husbands at Garden of Memories Cemetery. A private family service will be held along with a Celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
Family request that no flowers be sent but a donation be made to the Breast Cancer Society in Charlotte's name.
