Haag, Elda (Memoriam)
Elda Haag Mother's Day 1976 Mom, "bereavement" was such a non-fulfilling term. It lacked the pain, passion and pondering that your premature death engendered in the five of us. As Patty, Bob, Tim, Jan and I face the everyday societal turmoils and those very special and crucial parenting decisions, we can't help but long for, as well as appreciate your wisdom, understanding and unselfish love all the more. You were the ultimate supporter, teacher, nurturer and molder. I've known few others who can honestly say they walked life's harsh road without a single enemy. That tell-tale apron, your wooden spoon, genuine love of people and that warm smile. How fitting that the Lord took such an epitome of motherhood on Mother's Day. Your son, Steve on behalf of all of us
