Santa Ana Sr.
Anthony (Tony) Santa Ana Sr., 51, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012, after an affliction with cancer. He was born December 4, 1960, in Fort Ord.
Tony was raised in Salinas and graduated from Salinas High School in 1979. Soon after, he was employed as an auto stereo installer for several years. Following that, Tony worked a few more years as a tire installer for a local company. Upon moving to Oregon he had attained his certification as an auto technician and worked in that field until his illness forced him to retire. Tony enjoyed watching professional auto races, the SF Giants and the SF 49ers on TV. He was also a member of a pit crew for one of the area's race teams. As an avid music fan, he had attended numerous concerts throughout the years. Tony also has a vast music collection of various bands and artists; with classic rock/southern rock and the outlaw country as his most favorites.
Tony is survived by his wife, Allison of Jacksonville, OR; his parents, Manuel and Edith (Lorraine) Santa Ana of Salinas; son, Anthony Jr. (Maria); grandsons, Anthony Salvador and Nicholas J., all of Salinas; his sisters, Ramona (John) of of New York, and Janet Santa Ana of Salinas; his brother, Robert (Sherry) Santa Ana Sr of Salinas; also two nieces, three nephews, and numerous great nieces and great nephews, along with many other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who lives he had entered.
Tony's wishes were to be cremated and memorial services will be conducted Saturday, December 8, 2012, in Jacksonville, OR, with his wife and friends in attendance. Private services for family members will take place at a later date in Salinas. In lieu of flowers and/or cards, please send a donation to
