Celebration of Life

Doris Anders

Celebration of Life to honor Doris Anders. Doris graduated from Salinas High School in 1951. She worked in the Freeman family business in association with the Salinas Californian newspaper for numerous years until 1974 when she became the librarian for Bardin School where she retired after 15 years in 1989.

Doris was very involved in the Alvin Drive Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and chaperoned many of the youth group outings.

She will be celebrated by all who knew her as a woman of faith, love of family, and had an incredible sense of humor. Doris never knew a stranger. She continues to love her husband of 63 years and has always been devoted to her three daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Service: A celebration to honor Doris' life will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1 p.m., at Salinas Valley Community Church, 368 San Juan Grade Road, Salinas, CA 93906.
