Frankie A. Salazar, Jr.

Frankie Albert Salazar, Jr., 50, lifelong resident of Salinas, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, in Salinas. He was born March 5, 1963, in El Centro, CA.

His first job was at Spreckels Sugar Refinery and he also worked in construction, as well as in dialysis in Salinas.

Frankie was a loving father and family guy. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Frankie is survived by his wife, Lorena Pichardo; his first wife, Carmen Garcia; children, Amber Salazar Dunbar, and Frankie Dean Salazar; step-daughter, Jasmin Leon; grandchildren, Natalia and Joseph Dunbar and Analicia Murguia; and his mother, Lupe Huckaby.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frankie Salazar, Sr., in 1966.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 from 1 to 9 p.m., with a Rosary recital at 7 p.m., all at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905.

A Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22 Stone St., Salinas, CA 93901.

Burial to follow services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA 93907.
