Israel R. Reyna

Israel R. Reyna (Iz), 70, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 21, 2013, at home in Sacramento surrounded by his family, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born January 24, 1943 to Francisco and Elvira Rosas Reyna, in Robstown, TX.

Israel moved to California in 1962, settling in King City and was self employed in dry cleaning. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and spending time with family and friends. He had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Nuno Reyna; daughter, Leticia (Matthew) Florian; sisters, Rosy (Tony) Riva and Lydia Reyna; mother-in-law, Mary Celsa Nuno; cousin, Marcos Barrera; four grandchildren, Avery, Alex, Ian Reyna and Jamie Long; and numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scotty Reyna; and brother-in-law, Art Nuno.

Rosary and Memorial Mass will be Friday, April 12, 2013, at 10 a.m., at St John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City, CA 93930.
