John Fudenna, 63, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 8, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the eldest of three brothers, who owned and operated Fanciful Co. as commercial harvesters in the Salinas and Yuma Valleys. He spent 45 years following in his father's footsteps in the agricultural industry, which he loved.
John enjoyed traveling to see family, the Oregon coastline, and Las Vegas entertainment. He also had a passion for creating art objects from parts he found in the farm yard.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, John, Gordon (Johanna), Melanie (Tom), Devin (Tracee) and Jason (Kellie); grandchildren, Ashley, Kristin, Coby, Adeline and Wyatt: mother, Sachi; sister, Nikki; brothers, Leonard (Terry), Frank ( Kristy), Bob (Elaine), and Steve (Lynne). "Unca John" was very special to his many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dogs 3M Enterprises: Maxie, Morgan and Molly.
John was preceded in death by his father, Takeo; and grandson, Justin.
A Memorial will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., at the Elk's Lodge, 614 Airport Blvd., Salinas.
